Celebrate the holiday season at the library’s Annual Open House. The evening will feature activities, prizes and musical entertainment by Dave Gutshall and Andy Huber.
There will also be a special guest from the North Pole!
Each visitor, young and old, will receive a free book as a gift.
All ages are welcome and there is no charge.
Overflow parking will be available at the Municipal Complex parking lot across the street.

How do I find a book by Lexile?
Librarians are ready for your questions about Lexiles! We can help you find good books for your child that will fit their required Lexile range.
There are many factors that affect the relationship between reader & text including content, age appropriateness, reader interests, suitability of the text & text difficulty.
The Lexile measure of a book—a measure of text difficulty—is a good starting point …. the Lexile measure should never be the only factor considered when selecting a book.
Here's one easy way to find great books at the Huntley Library within a Lexile range.

Wimpy Kid Celebration on Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm. Calling all Wimpy Kids to celebrate the newest book in the popular Wimpy Kid series--Hard Luck. Earn Wimpy Dollars and get prizes by dressing as a Wimpy Kid character, playing games and knowing Wimpy Kid trivia. Two lucky winners will take home a copy of Hard Luck! For grades 3-7.
