Its simple, just dress up your pet in a fun costume, take a photo and bring it in to the Children's Room.

We will add the photo of your pet to our display in the hallway. Whatever your pet - dog, cat, lizard or hamster we'd love to see a picture of them in costume!

Journals for Wimps and Dorks!

Kids in grades 4-8 got together at the Huntley Area Public Library to create their own journals, diaries, and sketchbooks on November 3, 2011. Using a variety of materials, they made some really amazing creations (paint and duct tape were particularly popular). Once paint and glue dried, there was even time for some of them to get started writing and drawing!

This month in Pajamarama our theme was Friendship. We read some great books, sang songs, made a cute paperdoll craft and had a snack!
The first book we read was 'Chicken Pig Cow' by Ruth Ohi.
We followed this with 'Will You be my Friend' by Nancy Tafuri. Then 'Katie Loves the Kittens' by John Himmelman and 'A Splendid Friend Indeed' by Suzanne Bloom

After making and dressing two paper doll friends we had a snack and headed home (already dressed in our pajamas) for bed!
